Official Domain Claim Rules
These Official Domain Claim Rules govern any domain claim opportunity offered by Hoptile unless a specific post, page, or promotion states otherwise.
By submitting a claim for a domain through Hoptile, you agree to these Official Domain Claim Rules, as well as Hoptile’s Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
From time to time, Hoptile may feature a domain name with business potential and make that domain available to an eligible subscriber.
Unless stated otherwise, the featured domain is intended to go to the first eligible subscriber to validly claim it, subject to verification, availability, and successful transfer.
This is a promotional claim opportunity. It is not a random drawing, lottery, or sweepstakes unless Hoptile expressly says otherwise.
No purchase or payment is necessary to claim a domain through Hoptile.
Making a purchase, paying money, or buying any product or service from Hoptile does not improve your ability to receive a domain.
To claim a domain, you must:
be a current Hoptile subscriber at the time of claim
be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
provide accurate and complete information
be legally able to receive and manage a domain registration
comply with these Official Domain Claim Rules and Hoptile’s Terms & Conditions
Claims submitted by bots, scripts, automated methods, fake accounts, or fraudulent means are void.
Hoptile reserves the right to reject, refuse, or cancel claims from prior recipients, repeat claimants, or related accounts where necessary to preserve fairness, prevent abuse, or protect the integrity of the claim process.
Unless stated otherwise in the applicable post or promotion, a domain may be claimed by following the claim instructions provided by Hoptile.
A claim is not valid unless it is actually received by Hoptile in the required manner.
Hoptile may require the claimant to provide additional information to verify eligibility, identity, contact details, registrar readiness, or transfer capability.
Unless stated otherwise, the domain will be offered to the first eligible subscriber who submits a valid claim and completes any required verification steps.
Submitting a message first does not automatically guarantee receipt of the domain. Hoptile may determine claim order, eligibility, completeness, and compliance in its reasonable discretion.
If a claimant is found ineligible, fails to respond, fails to complete the required steps, or cannot receive the domain, Hoptile may move to the next eligible claimant.
Hoptile may require a claimant to confirm interest, verify identity, provide account details, or complete registrar-related setup within a stated time period.
If the claimant does not respond within the requested time, provides incomplete or inaccurate information, or fails to complete the required steps, Hoptile may cancel the claim and offer the domain to another eligible claimant.
A domain transfer may require:
a registrar account with a supported registrar
identity or ownership verification
acceptance of registrar terms
confirmation emails or authorization steps
compliance with registrar, registry, or ICANN-related requirements
Transfer timing is not guaranteed. A transfer may be delayed, denied, restricted, or canceled due to registrar requirements, technical issues, account issues, verification problems, policy restrictions, or other reasons outside Hoptile’s control.
Hoptile is not responsible for registrar-specific rules, registry restrictions, transfer locks, account limitations, verification requirements, or any ICANN-related transfer restrictions that affect timing or completion.
Some domain transfers or registrant changes may be subject to transfer limitations or lock periods imposed by the registrar or applicable policies.
Once a domain has been successfully transferred, the recipient becomes fully responsible for that domain, including:
all future renewal fees
any transfer, registrar, or account fees
any taxes or related charges
domain management and maintenance
legal review, trademark clearance, and business-name clearance
all use of the domain after transfer
Hoptile is not responsible for expiration, suspension, transfer failure after completion, loss of the domain, trademark disputes, or any other issue arising after the transfer is completed.
A domain offered by Hoptile may appear attractive or available, but Hoptile does not represent or guarantee that the domain, name, or business concept is legally cleared for your use.
You are solely responsible for conducting your own trademark, legal, commercial, and business research before using any domain, brand name, or business idea.
Hoptile reserves the right to reject, refuse, cancel, pause, modify, or end any domain claim opportunity at any time, to the extent permitted by law.
Hoptile may do so for reasons including:
ineligibility
inaccurate or false information
suspected fraud, abuse, or manipulation
repeat claims, related accounts, or claim activity that Hoptile believes is excessive, abusive, unfair, or inconsistent with the integrity or purpose of the claim process
failure to complete required steps
inability to complete the transfer
registrar or technical issues
domain unavailability or transfer restriction
posting or administrative error
any other issue that affects the integrity or proper administration of the claim process
Unless Hoptile expressly states otherwise, a claimed domain:
has no cash value payable by Hoptile
may not be redeemed for cash
may not be substituted for a different domain
may not be transferred by Hoptile to a different recipient except at Hoptile’s discretion before completion of transfer
Unless prohibited by law or unless Hoptile agrees otherwise in writing, Hoptile may publicly identify the claimed domain as “claimed” or “transferred.”
Hoptile is not required to publicly identify the claimant by full name.
Hoptile is not responsible for:
late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, or invalid claims
technical failures or website issues
email delivery issues
registrar delays or transfer failures
incorrect claimant information
third-party service failures
any inability to use a domain after transfer
